The beginning of a new year is often a time where we reflect and make goals to better ourselves- but your furry friends can be part of your “New Year, New You” plans as well! It’s always important to make sure your pets are eating healthy and getting appropriate amounts of exercise (especially during colder months when the temptation to be sedentary might be higher), but you might even consider incorporating your pets into your own new routines. Talk with your veterinarian about any significant changes to your pet’s diet and exercise routines, as the same tips won’t apply to every pet across the board.
