Summer Vacation Readiness

Now that Spring has sprung and the temperatures are warming up, a lot of us are making our summer travel plans! If you’re headed somewhere where you can’t bring your four-legged friends along with you, you may be considering boarding your pet somewhere. However, most pet boarding facilities will require your pet to be up to date on all their vaccinations.

We want to remind you that we are still booking appointments out about 2-3 weeks in advance, so whether your pet is currently behind on vaccinations, or you know that they’ll be due for them sometime soon, we recommend getting that scheduled before it’s too late!

Veterinary clinics across the country are continuing to see higher wait times for appointments due to residual effects from the pandemic, ongoing staffing shortages, and increased awareness in pet owners of health factors for their pets. So don’t let a lapse in vaccinations for your pet put a damper on your summer travel! Call AMCMA today at (314) 951-1534 to schedule your appointment.

The Animal Medical Center of Mid-America has veterinarians at three locations that can answer questions about your pet’s health. Call 314-951-1534 or click here to request an appointment online.
