Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Windle grew up in southwest Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She went on to get her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Kansas State University in 2019. She completed a one-year Small Animal Rotating Medicine and Surgery Internship at Louisiana State University before joining the AMCMA team. Dr. Windle enjoys working with cats and dogs, but she also has an interest in wildlife rehabilitation and exotic animal medicine. During vet school, she completed multiple externships at various zoos and Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. She also traveled to South Africa and Tanzania where she worked alongside veterinarians in wildlife treatment and conservation medicine.
Dr. Windle shares her home with her husband Cory and two rescue cats, Izzy and Baxter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and going to the zoo.
