Dr. Sandy Angus

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Sandy Angus

Dr. Angus is from St. Louis and attended veterinary school at the University of Missouri Columbia.

She wanted to be a veterinarian since she was very young, but took a detour first and went to nursing school. After 11 yearss of nursing, she went back to school and graduated vet school in 2001.

She worked in private practice for 18 years. She left to do something different, and that's when she discovered non-profit and knew she never wanted to go back. Dr. Angus joined AMCMA in December of 2021 so she could continue providing spay and neuter surgeries for owned and shelter animals, which is a service she loves providing.

In her spare time she loves being outdoors, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, biking and so on.

She is currently down to one sweet little dog. When she's ready for a second dog, she will give a shelter dog a fantastic home and an exciting life.
